The Salt Mine is fascinating, created from just one material with multitudinal facets. At the moment it is not connected to the city and very much underground. Through a series of ways to visualize the materiality of salt and the mine self, we have tried to re-vive the mine again. But instead of emphasizing on the mine itself it is urgent to first address the city before addressing the mine. Without a viable city there can be no dependent attraction There is more to this city than the salt mine... Empty sites and abandoned buildings are very dangerous for the health of the city They are not only an eyesore but also decrease the value of the surrounding buildings We propose to alter the perception of these spaces by transforming them into places of pleasure and sensuality.
